Mutton Curry – How to make Mutton Curry
Medium sized, chopped
Ginger Garlic Paste
2 and 1/2
Red chili powder
Garam masala powder
1 inch piece
Wash and clean the mutton pieces and drain the excess water.
Heat coconut oil in a pressure cooker.
Add the cloves, cinnamon and cardamom, and saute for a minute.
Then add the chopped onions and saute until they turn soft and pink.
Then add the ginger garlic paste and saute until the raw small goes off.
Then simmer the flame.
Next add the turmeric powder, red chili powder and coriander powder. Saute until the raw smell goes off.
Next add in the chopped tomatoes and saute until they turn soft and mushy.
Next add the cleaned mutton pieces and saute for about 5 minutes.
Then add water and salt as required. Mix well.
Pressure cook for 15 minutes on medium high flame.
Then simmer and cook for another 5 minutes.
Switch the flame off. Allow the pressure to release by itself.
Next add the chopped coriander leaves and garam masala powder and allow to boil for a minute.
Delicious mutton curry is ready.
You may serve it with ghee rice, roti, bhatura, puttu, idiyappam or anything that you like.
