Instructions
  1. First mix together the grated coconut with the condensed milk in a bowl.
  2. Then using clean hands, mould them into rectangular bars.
  3. And place the prepared bars on a baking tray covered with parchment paper.
  4. Once all the coconut condensed milk mixture is used up, freeze the bars for 30 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate chunks. Microwave the chocolate for about 30 seconds, stirring them after every 10 seconds.
  6. Or you may even use the double boiler method for melting the chocolate. That is, place a bowl of water for boiling. Then take the chocolates in a second, smaller bowl. Place this smaller bowl over the first one. Make sure the water doesn’t touch the second bowl. Stir until chocolate melts completely. Keep this aside.
  7. Take the prepared coconut bars out of the freezer. I took one at a time, to avoid getting messed up.
  8. Take a wire rack and place on a plate.
  9. Then place the coconut bar on the wire rack and pour the melted chocolate over it.
  10. Carefully turn and coat the other side too.
  11. Alternately you may place the coconut bar in the bowl containing melted chocolate and using 2 forks coat them with chocolate. Remove excess chocolate.
  12. Then place this chocolate coated coconut bar on a baking tray covered with parchment paper. Similarly prepare all the bars.
  13. Then refrigerate for at least an hour.
  14. Yummy Bounty chocolate bars are ready!!
