Crispy Fried Beans – Learn how to make Crispy Fried Beans
Green Beans / French Beans
all purpose flour
Or Pakistani Vermicelli
Red chili powder
For deep frying
Wash and clean the beans and cut the ends.
Pressure cook the beans for 2 whistles.
Meanwhile mix together the all purpose flour, 1 tsp red chili powder, onion powder and garlic powder in a bowl.
Also, in a separate plate, mix together the crushed vermicelli, 1 tsp red chili powder and salt .
In another bowl, lightly whisk an egg and keep it aside.
Once the beans are cooked, transfer them to a bowl with cold water.
After 2 minutes, transfer to a sieve to remove excess water.
Now coat each bean with the flour mixture.
Then dip the beans one by one in the whisked egg, until well coated.
Then cover the beans with the vermicelli mix.
Heat oil in a kadai/ pan.
Cut the beans into two halves (optional, based on your pan size).
Drop the coated beans one by one into the hot oil.
Turn sides in between and fry until they turn golden brown in color.
Similarly fry all the prepared beans.
